MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENTS

Dear Colleagues,

It is our distinct honor and great pleasure to invite you to the EAOM/AAOM Joint Meeting, “Global Oral Medicine: Innovation, Integration and Collaboration,” to be held on the magnificent island of Rhodes, Greece, from 21–25 September 2027.

Following the highly successful AAOM/EAOM Joint Meeting in Las Vegas in May 2025—where our shared vision of a truly global collaboration became a reality—the 2027 meeting in Greece will further strengthen and expand this momentum. Our joint Organizing and Scientific Committees are working diligently to deliver a congress of the highest scientific and professional standards, reflecting the values and aspirations of our international Oral Medicine community and honoring the traditions of AAOM, EAOM, and other participating organizations worldwide.

Greece, the cradle of Western civilization, represents enduring ideals of democracy, inclusiveness, and intellectual inquiry—principles closely aligned with our Societies. It is also deeply connected to the origins of modern medicine, built on scientific evidence and humanitarian principles through Hippocrates, whose legacy and Oath continue to guide our profession today.

Rhodes, the largest of the Dodecanese islands, offers a unique blend of history, culture, and modern hospitality. For centuries, it has served as a crossroads of civilizations—home to Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Medieval, and Ottoman influences—creating a truly cosmopolitan and inspiring setting.
